Special Interest Groups (SIGs) are a way for members of a User Group to get together with other members that share a common interest in a specific topic, in order to learn from each other.

SIG meetings are usually held outside of the monthly General Meeting, allowing the participants more time to explore a particular topic.

Below you will find a list of the current SIGs that are sponsored by CUE.

Digital Photo SIG - Lou Cioccio

New to photography, or just new to DIGITAL photography? If so, this is the place to be. Each month we examine a facet of this new exciting imaging method, exploring ways to better use your equipment, to achieve the results you want. Besides focusing on the camera side of things, we also look at software that helps you enhance and modify your images, allowing you to create exactly the image you wish. All at the click of a button!

Mac SIG Lou Cioccio

Meets on the second Saturday of each month at Holy Rosary School (1012 East 28th Street) parking on 27th street.  Beginners to experienced Mac users, using MacOS 7 through MacOS X and beyond. Open-ended meeting with demo's and hands-on.

Genealogy SIG Dave Howell

Explores the use of computer software and resources that assists the researcher of genealogical information. Although no genealogical knowledge or experience is necessary, everyone is welcome.

Beginner's User Group (BUG) -  Tom Kuklinski

Provides a forum to support those new to computing and those needing assistance with new hardware or software.
