Windows Explorer Trick

When I open windows explorer I want it to open into a folder of my choosing, not "My documents".

Right click on the Explorer shortcut and edit the Target box.
Change the Target box to read:   "c:\windows\EXPLORER.EXE /n, /e, X:\"Your Folder"" no quotes.

You can create numerous shortcuts with different directories open.

This works with ALL Windows Explorers back to Win95.
